Tested for Athletes - What does that actually mean? And why would you care?
RheinNatur is a partner of the Cologne List®, a German initiative for fairness in sport. But what does that mean, and why should you care as a non-athlete?
Fairness in Sport Starts with What You Take
Whether you are a competitive athlete or simply someone who cares deeply about your health, knowing exactly what goes into your body is crucial. At RheinNatur, the philosophy is simple: fairness in sport starts with what you take. That is why we are committed to delivering supplements with tested batches and proven purity.
What is the Cologne List?
Founded in 2006 as an initiative for fairness in sports, the Cologne List (Kölner Liste, in German, https://www.koelnerliste.com/en/) is a test program for manufacturers that includes audits, document requirements, and batch tests to minimize the risk of contamination with banned substances.
Testing is carried out at the Center for Preventive Doping Research at the German Sport University Cologne. While no process can offer an absolute guarantee, participating in this rigorous testing helps significantly minimize the risk of inadvertent doping.
Control Matters Beyond Competitive Sports
You don't have to be a professional athlete to care about supplement safety and purity. In today's world, complex supply chains and hidden outsourcing increase the risk of cross-contamination for everyone. A big brand name doesn't always guarantee a pure product; countless high-profile cases have shown supplements that didn't contain what the label promised.
To combat this risk, RheinNatur maintains strict, in-house control over every single production step in Germany. Our approach to uncompromising quality includes:
- Raw Materials: Rigorously tested for identity, purity, and safety.
- Finished Products: Independently verified and batch-tested before reaching you, ensuring products like our 99.8% pure Collagen Powder with Vitamin C meet the highest standards.
As a family-owned business with our own manufacturing plant and in-house lab, we're fortunate not to rely on outsourcing.
In Summary, don't leave your health to chance. Choose supplements backed by independent verification and strict in-house manufacturing.
